Saturday, May 17, Olowalu: Monthly Beach Clean-up

Aloha Surfriders,

This Saturday is our monthly beach clean-up.  Meet at Olowalu in West Maui from 9-11:30 to comb the coastline for detritus.  We’ll bring burlap sacks, gloves, a big water container (but no cups/ bring your own water bottles), a table, a tent, and lunch.  You bring sturdy shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a surfboard to ride the S. Swell at Olowalu before and after the cleanup.  Special thanks to SPANKY’S RIPTIDE for contributing lunch to encourage all of our volunteers.  This is their second generous sponsorship of a Surfrider event in two months.

Look for Beach Cleanup Coordinator Robi Campbell.  See you there!
