An international event, the March for Science, is set for Saturday, April 22nd (Earth Day), with over 360 satellite marches (and counting!) actively being planned worldwide. This event has been endorsed by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), the National Center for Science Education, the Society for Conservation Biology, the Earth Day Network, and many more.
Hawaiʻi events are also being planned statewide, with a Maui event currently coming together (see event page, and the March for Science, Maui community event Facebook page).
Activities will also include providing support for the march in, on, and under the water, with a "virtual event" happening worldwide with the March for Science, Ocean.
