Maui Beach Cleanups

At every beach cleanup we host our volunteers collect data on the trash they pick up on provided data cards. We take this information and log it in our national Surfrider database to track the efforts of each of our local Surfrider chapters. Together our foundation removes thousands of pounds of waste from coastal areas and the data we collect helps to guide and support our initiatives.

We work with local Maui businesses to sponsor our beach cleanups and help spread the word. Sponsors provide us with donations that support our cleanup costs like dumpster rentals and disposal fees. They also provide food or beverages at some events keeping our volunteers fueled for the work at hand. Interested in becoming a beach cleanup sponsor?
